Objective: Students will be introduced to guidelines and expectations of this course and begin first film, The Outsiders.

Do Now

Write down expectation of the course in a notebook dedicated to this class only. I will be collecting notebooks to read and grade your journal entries.

1. Every class will begin with a journal entry. Journal entries will account for 30% of your grade.

2. Every class will end with either a journal entry or questions about the film. 30%

3. Following each film, you will take either a comprehensive quiz or be assigned a project. 30%

4. Be on task and on schedule in every class 10%

5. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to view the film on your own. You will not be excused from any work.

6. Questions will be listed on my blog - REINAFILM1.BLOGSPOT.COM. So if you are absent, you can get the here.

7. You may have an occasional laptop project regarding a film
